In order to get a 'fishing rod' from the old man at Angler Dwelling, you will have to capture the 'Pond Master'. Using just your everyday bait won't do the trick and you might find yourself having a hard time catching the 'Pond Master'.  Apparently there is a resident in Port Town which had the bait you would need but gave it to a young woman who now lives with her in-laws in another town. This town happens to be Horti Kalcha. From the way the villagers are talking, you might think that the key to getting the special bait lies in this town. But have you found it? If not, searching every nook and corner of the outskirts of the village might help.

Listening to the Village Elder's story, you will learn that he likes Encheliophis Sagamianus, a species of pearlfish. If you listen to his request, an awesome gardener will be dispatched to Digitown, and you will be able to experience the enjoyment of cultivating plants! Also, if you chat to a funky young lad positioned on the outskirts of the town, a shop that specializes in flower seeds will be appear!
